An ordinary sneaker, turned into a monster
What started with a standard men's shoe became a striking prop measuring 3.8 meters long, 1.47 meters wide and 1.66 meters high. Together with its smaller siblings, one full-size and one 1.5-meter version, it formed a unique visual ‘family portrait’: the son, the father and the grandfather. A bold, memorable statement.
From concept to eye-catcher: our creative process
How do you turn a sneaker into a sculptural masterpiece? With patience, precision and plenty of passion. This is how we brought it to life, in eight carefully planned steps:
Scanning the original
We started with a real shoe and scanned it in high detail.
File creation and modifications
Our designers built the 3D files and added all structural adaptations
PLA 3D printing
Each part was printed layer by layer,
over a
period of 20 to 25 days.
Painting & final check
The prop was finished with a flawless coat of paint.
Testing & inspection
We tested every connection and inspected the surface.
Sanding
All surfaces were smoothed to perfection.
Assembly
The individual parts were assembled into one product.
The result?
A mega prop that grabs attention, sparks curiosity, and makes people stop and stare.
